Where we serve
Wilmington and the towns around it, from Wrightsville and Pleasure Island to Leland, Southport, Hampstead, and Burgaw.
Towns we cover
Each area has its own water source, housing, and weather, and that affects how water heaters wear out. Pick your town for local details.
The area at a glance
Wilmington’s water comes mostly from the Cape Fear River through CFPUA, and it’s soft. Leland gets treated aquifer water from H2GO, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Burgaw run town wells, Southport is on Brunswick County water, and many homes in Castle Hayne and Hampstead have private wells. Groundwater carries more minerals, so homes on wells and town well systems see more sediment and benefit most from an annual flush.
Beach towns like Wrightsville, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach also deal with salt air, humidity, and hurricane flooding, which can shorten the life of heaters in garages and under raised homes.
